The last protection against the evils of commercial radio and the only true alternative radio in the Manawatu, Radio Control has been live since 1981, bringing the beautiful people of our community a radio experience that is fresh, genuine, and diverse. Alternative student radio that focuses on up and coming artists, doesn’t bombard you with the same song five times a day, and has pride in its local and national artists is what Radio Control does best. Weekdays sees the freshest tunes from here and abroad brought to you by our amazing team of volunteer hosts, and evenings and weekends throw you into the wild world of special interest shows from every genre imaginable.
